Localbird educates its community through a positive tourism and create connections through experiences and trips, it gives people the tools to get to deeply know Canarian culture and gives the opportunity, for locals, to know new cultures and learn new languages “traveling” without moving from the island.

The Trip

🏘️ We will visit a beautiful small Canarian town where there will be a typical Sunday market. People from this town produce a real traditional food that you gonna taste.

Yes, because you can buy a typical sandwich from Gran Canaria (is sausage, if you are vegan or vegetarian, please contact us, we can offer you a different option).

🛖 We will eat it doing a picnic inside an Aboriginal cave (just as Aboriginals used to do).

The Sacred Mountains are formed of peaks, cliffs and ravines. A scenic landscape vestige of a prehispanic culture with thousands of caves, ritual temples and rock art. This cultural landscape has recently been declared UNESCO world heritage.
