About the Experience
Discover the flavors, stories, and vibrant culture of Las Palmas through a guided bike journey across the city’s three most iconic local markets. Led by an Official Guide from the Canary Islands, this experience blends gastronomy, history, and urban exploration in a fun and sustainable way.
You’ll pedal through charming neighborhoods, scenic streets, and cultural hotspots while stopping to taste the most special local products. Along the way, you’ll meet passionate small-business owners who will share personal stories about their traditions and ingredients.
Here’s what your journey looks like:
Mercado de Vegueta – The city’s oldest and most historic market. Taste different varieties of Canarian bananas, seasonal tropical fruits, and the legendary Agaete coffee — the first coffee cultivated in Europe.
Mercado Central – A beloved market for locals. Explore its aisles freely, shop if you wish, and discover everyday flavors that shape Gran Canaria’s culinary identity.
Mercado del Puerto – A vibrant gastronomic corner filled with tapas stalls, wine bars, traditional stands, and international bites. Taste local wines or artisanal beer, enjoy papas arrugadas with mojo, and sample world-famous cheeses like Queso Flor de Guía and Majorero.
All of this while riding comfortably on Dutch-style or mountain bikes, guided safely through the most beautiful corners of Las Palmas.

- The meeting point is in Aparcamiento Sanapú. All the necessary details will be shared in the WhatsApp group after booking

- Booking must be completed at least 24 hours in advance. Last-minute reservations cannot be accepted due to operational requirements.
- Your spot is only confirmed once the payment is completed through the official booking link. Participants who have not finalized payment will not be added to the list.
- The experience may be adjusted, rescheduled, or relocated depending on weather conditions. Organizers reserve the right to make changes when necessary to ensure the security of the group.
