The aim of this trip is to invite International people to meet Locals and local culture, creating connections through local places trips.

 Localbird is a travel community for better local tourism, international people that share our values want to give a positive impact on the local environment, we connect local people to those people that are not only tourists but citizens of the world.  (we will play networking games such the Guagua Networking)

  Localbird educates its community through a positive tourism and create connections through experiences and trips, it gives people the tools to get to deeply know Canarian culture and gives the opportunity, for locals, to know new cultures and learn new languages “traveling” without moving from the island.

We will visit the east side of Gran Canaria and some hidden spots, abandoned places and local communities.

 In a rocky area of the east coast we can find a magic cave where a perfect circle pool is placed, naturally. This area is frequently visited by local fishermen and a big local (not crowded) beach of black sand is really easy to reach.

  We will visit a very local small village where an old Canarian build up an entire area with recycled material. He built buildings for his family and neighborhood, where they can leave in peace and in an art environment.

Depending on the sea condition (pool cave availability) we can visit an abandoned villa that in ancient time was a monastery, now there are rumors about ghost life inside of it (don’t worry, we will visit it during the day).

Finally we will enjoy sunset time in a strategical spot of the island.
