About the Experience

This local trip explores the southern side of Gran Canaria, revealing the authentic, natural, and cultural side of an area known mostly for mass tourism. However, beyond the resorts, there is a completely different side to the south.

You will visit one of the most beautiful aboriginal caves in the mountains. There you’ll discover the island’s ancient heritage and feel connected to the spirit of the Guanches, the first inhabitants of the Canary Islands.

Depending on weather and tide conditions, you may explore hidden sea caves by kayak, or visit one of the last wild beaches of the south – untouched, peaceful, and far away from crowded resorts. To close the day, you will watch the sunset in a natural sea cave, near one of the most iconic beaches of the island.

Throughout the trip, our guide will teach you how to visit these environments respectfully and responsibly, ensuring minimal impact on local communities and nature.
