The experience
🧗♀️🧗♀️🧗♀️🧗♀️ Have you ever discovered the closest mountains around Las Palmas de Gran Canaria? Want to feel like a real Guanche?
Localbird offers this activity in order to find out some secret spots and viewpoints in Las Palmas area.
“Las crestas” are geological forms (ridge) that every mountaineer falls in love with. In this route close to the capital which can be easily reached, you can climb and even try a simple climb to move along a ridge from which you can see the best views of the capital, the isthmus, and the cliffs of the north of Gran Canaria. From the top, you’ll feel like you’re almost flying… before descending a ravine where you’ll be able to initiate yourself in descents by doing a 15-meter rappel.
No previous experience in climbing or rappelling is necessary, only some skill in moving on mountain routes. It is an ideal activity to lose your fear of heights or if you are curious about the mountain world beyond hiking. As a reward, a landscape dominated by the sea and all the geological history of Gran Canaria piled layer by layer on the cliffs.

– Sports shoes, hiking shoes, or hiking boots.
– Sportswear: technical fabrics rather than cotton type.

– Bring comfortable clothes and water bottle.
– Organization will provide all equipment, so you don’t have to worry about a thing.
– The experience depend on the environment conditions, organizers take the right to change the experiences according to the group security
